The Eagle Point School board has voted in support of the superintendent who is fighting a misconduct charge.
The board voted 3-2 in favor of paying superintendent Cynda Rickert's legal fees to fight a charge of misconduct filed against her in November by the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission. The cost will be about $6000 dollars.
Rickert was charged with knowingly replacing licensed staff with unlicensed in 2011, but Rickert adamantly denies the charges.
A hearing date has not been scheduled at this time
