Students in Eagle Point are returning back to class on this Monday.

Both the Eagle Point School District and the Eagle Point Education Association have been locked in heated negotiations for more than 13 months.

The two sides are not finding common ground on teacher prep time, and prorating insurance for classified employees, among other things.

The district called off classes for a week, while the negotiations were taking place, and union members began to strike.

Starting this week, students will be split into two different groups, one attending class in the morning, the other in the afternoon.

Here is the schedule for morning classes:

Elementary pupils from Hillside, White City and Shady Cove will go to their regular schools.

Hillside and White City will open for student breakfast at 7:30, with classes starting at 8.

Students will be dismissed at 12:15 PM after lunch and recess.

Shady Cove will be open for breakfast at 8, with classes starting at 8:30 and pupil dismissal at 11:30 with a sack lunch.

High school students will go to the high school. They will start classes at 7:30 and will be dismissed at 11:45 after lunch.

Here is the schedule for afternoon classes:

Elementary pupils from Eagle Rock will go to Hillside.

Elementary pupils from Mountain View and Lake Creek Learning Center will go to White City Elementary.

They will have lunch at noon, with classes starting at 12:30 and pupil dismissal at 4 p.m.

Students from Eagle Point and White Mountain Middle Schools will go to the high school. They will have lunch at 11:45.

Classes will start at 12:25, and students will be dismissed at 4.

Middle school students from Shady Cove will go to their regular school. They will start classes and have a sack lunch at 12:30.
Dismissal will be at 4.
