Portland, Ore. -- An eco-terror suspect has been sentenced to five years in prison. Canadian Rebecca Rubin plead guilty in October to a dozen counts of arson and conspiracy.
Rubin surrendered herself to the F.B.I. for her role with both the Earth Liberation Front and the Animal Liberation Front. Investigators blame the groups for 20 fires across the West from 1996 to 2001, in what the Justice Department called the "largest eco-terrorism case" in U.S. history.
