Employment Rates Rise In Oregon

Some good news for those looking for work in Oregon.

A new report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that employment rates in 2011 rose in 4 of the 6 largest counties in Oregon.

However, among the largest counties, Jackson County has the lowest employment level.

The county recorded a 1.7% decrease and had the lowest weekly wage at $689.

That's compared the national average of $955.
