Fort Complex Fire:
Public meetings are scheduled at 6:00pm for August 13, 2012 at Seiad, California in Fire Station and August 14 at Ruch, Oregon in Upper Applegate Grange Hall.

Fire crews are still battling extreme terrain with low humidity and high afternoon temperatures. Fire spreading across the surface is exasperated by burning debris falling down the mountainside and igniting.
Crews made good headway on the Lick fire burning near the Applegate Lake and work closer to a contained perimeter. The Hello and Goff Fire have flared up since the weekend and continue to spread. The Goff blaze in the Klamath National Forest has potential to threaten historical values and some 85 buildings near Ft. Goff.

Challenges are humidity, terrain and temperatures.
2 Injuries (other minor include poison oak, bee sting, dehydration)
1787 Acres total
10% contained
Goff 965 acres
Hello 464 acres
Lick 357 acres
