GP Police Looking For Carjacking Suspect

Shortly before 8pm Wednesday, Grants Pass police responded to calls regarding an armed carjacking.

Police say a lone man wearing a mask was crouching in the backseat of the owners blue BMW convertible. Police say the owner left the top down on the convertible at the time.

The car is described as a blue 2002 BMW 325i convertible with Oregon license plate 885-EMD. The suspect is described as an adult male, in his 20's. Thin build, last seen wearing dark mask and dark clothing and armed with a handgun.

The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Southeast N Street in downtown Grants Pass. The vehicle was last seen eastbound towards Northeast Agness Ave.

Police say they were unable to locate the vehicle and the males' identity is still unknown.
