Late Sunday night around 9pm, a 27 year old man named Sidney Thomas called 911 to report that he had shot a man after a driving dispute & confrontation along Cloverlawn Drive just outside of Grants Pass.

The other driver, 38 year old Timothy Correia, is said to have passed Thomas' on a blind corner and double yellow line. Thomas reacted and swerved at the other man and before long the two found themselves here at this turnout.

That's when things got physical.

The man with the gun was detained at the time, questioned and later released.

Neighbors reacted, many not even aware of the incident, but for those who noticed, say they weren't about to go check it out, in fear of running into trouble.

Tonight, police are asking for anyone who saw this incident unfold to call police with their story.

So far no arrests have been made.
