Shortly before 10:30pm Thursday night Ashland Police responded to a disorderly conduct call on North Main Street and Helman Street near downtown Ashland. As officers arrived, they quickly discovered a man had been stabbed. Police say there was only one victim and that they were taken to Providence Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they do not currently have any suspects in custody as of 5:30 am.

North Main Street was closed in the northbound direction and down to one lane in the southbound direction near Helman Street while police investigated.

North Main Street was fully reopened shortly after 1am Friday morning.

This on the heels of a suspected alcohol related stabbing in Medford that occurred around 9:15pm Thursday night.

Police are not releasing many details at this time as the investigation is ongoing. Stay with NBC 5 online and on air for the latest details.
