If you're heading to the beach in Coos or Curry County, you might consider staying out of the water.

Public health officials have issued a health warning for Sunset beach--Mill beach--and Harris beach.

High levels of fecal bacteria in the water can cause stomach upsets, rashes and respiratory infections.

Visitors are also warned to avoid wading in nearby creeks, standing or discolored water.
