Medford, Ore. -- A high speed chase reaching more than 100 miles an hour ends in Medford on Tuesday night, but the driver runs and Oregon State Police said as of Wednesday he is still out there.

OSP troopers are asking the public to keep an eye out for 19-year-old Joshua Trevon Munoz, the driver.

NBC 5 News spoke with a young woman who said she and her boyfriend saw the whole thing unfold.

The scene at exit 27 in Medford around 10pm Tuesday night is something Breanne Manley won't soon forget.

"I've never seen anything like it," she said.

According to OSP, it all started just before 10, when one of their troopers saw a 2004 Acura TL four-door speeding northbound on I-5 near milepost 13.

"The vehicle sped up, [the trooper] ran the plate and it came back stolen out of Washington. Speeds then jumped up to 100, 100-plus miles an hour," said Sgt. Jeff Proulx with the Oregon State Police.

It was at exit 27 that the high speed chase come to a dramatic end.

"The vehicle exited there and lost control, hit the cement barrier there," explained Proulx.

"All of a sudden cops just come from every angle that were following them," recalled Manley.

Troopers said 18-year-old Justice Campbell and 19-year-old Joshua Munoz, both Washington residents, got out of the car and ran.

After a brief foot chase, Campbell was arrested. She's since been released from the Jackson County Jail.

Now OSP is asking for the public's help in locating Munoz.

Meanwhile, Manley said the chase was like something from a movie.

"I've never seen anything like that and people running from the cops? It was insane," she said.

According to Manley, she and her boyfriend were seconds from being hit by the car.

"If the car flipped our way instead of the other way, we would be gone or we would be in the hospital," said Manley.

Tonight, she's feeling fortunate all she got Tuesday night was an adrenaline rush.

19-year-old Joshua Munoz was last seen wearing a white t-shirt. According to OSP, he has a warrant out for his arrest in Washington.

If you know of Munoz's whereabouts, call the OSP Southern Command Center dispatch at 541-664-4600.
