People looking to fly Horizon Air were forced to wait hours as a result of a cut optic in the network. Alaska Airlines announce that the system used to Check passengers in and out was compromised by a cut to an optic line in the Midwest. The ripple effect had people waiting for hours, many unprepared and unhappy about the delay. By 5 p.m. the lines seemed to be flowing better at the Rogue Valley International Airport but some travelers were forced reschedule their flights for a day later.
