Hurricane Isaac hammered New Orleans with strong winds and heavy rain Tuesday night.
Forecasters say winds reached 80 miles an hour.
Officials also say the storm caused a levee to be toppled with water.
We're told some homes are seeing flooding but at this point no injuries have been reported.
According to local government officials, the damage they've seen is similar to what they saw when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005.
