Jackson County will continue to provide rehabilitation to just-released federal offenders.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons will pay the county $1.56 million to provide drug and alcohol treatment to federal offenders just released from prison.
The Jackson County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously last night, to renew it's agreement with the Bureau of Prisons for an additional 3 years.
The program has been in place since 2006.
