The Josephine County Sheriff’s office says burglaries are continuing in the North Valley and on Upper and Lower River Roads. More than 30 burglaries have been reported in just the last few days.
Deputies believe many different groups are behind the crimes.
Officials say an older model Ford Aerostar van, an early 2000’s 2-door Chrysler hatchback, and a ’95 gray Oldsmobile are the vehicles driven by different suspects.
All suspects have the same method of operation.
One suspect knocks on the door of a home during normal work hours.
If the door is answered, they say they’re looking for a lost dog or need to use the phone.
If no one is home, the other suspects force entry. Anyone with information should call the Josephine County Sheriff’s office.
