Klamath Falls, Ore. -- A year and a half in prison, that's the price a Klamath Falls man will pay for a wild ride the last summer.

Police say 26 year-old Joseph Wendell Nelson hit a motorcycle, an SUV, and a Sheriff's patrol car with a stolen pickup during a police pursuit in July of 2013.

Nelson was initially charged with multiple counts of attempted murder.

Nelson plead 'guilty' in late February of this year to lesser charges of auto theft, attempting to elude, and failure to perform the duties of a driver.
