A land-swap with the Motorcycle Riders Association has been approved by the Jacksonville City Council.

In a meeting on Tuesday, the council heard from the public about the issue and the vote was cast shortly after.

The deal follows a debate centered around off-road riding in the watershed.

380 acres in the Jacksonville Watershed will be traded to the Motorcycle Association for 40 acres, and $680,000.
