After seven months of local foods and vendors in Medford, and some rainy weather, the Saturday Rogue Valley Growers Market came to an end today.
Market Manager Jill Kennedy says this has been a successful year.
Earlier this year the market moved to their new location at the commons on 6th and Bartlett. She says they were up 300 percent from last year.
"We brought a lot more money into the economy because of the vendors that came down here and the people that shopped here. So a lot more people shopped local, which is really important to us."
Kennedy says they look forward to next year's market season. The Rogue Valley Growers Market has a five year contract at the Lithia Commons location.
