A convicted felon is behind bars this morning after a MADGE officers find drugs and guns in his home.
57 year old Curtis Lee Hollins was taken into custody yesterday, after a search warrant turned up 12 grams of meth, 4 ecstasy pills and two handguns among other evidence. One of the guns was a Tech-9 style handgun; the other a semi-automatic .22 calibur pistol.
Hollins's home on Holly Street is within 1000 feet of Mcloughlin Middle School.
Investigators believe one of the handguns may have been stolen in 2008 from Central Point but further investigation is needed.
Hollins is facing multiple charges tonight including unlawful possession and manufacture of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm.
His bail has been set at over one million dollars.
