Oregon's state economic growth got a boost from the manufacturing and construction sectors in October.

That's according to a report released by the University of Oregon.

Officials say economic activity in October reached .44%, that's up from the previous month.

The state's construction sector added 500 jobs, manufacturing made similar gains.

The full Oregon November jobs report will be released next week.
