A preliminary hearing is scheduled for a Medford man who led police on a high speed chase through two states-- ending in a shoot-out.

Albert Anthony Smith will go before a Grand Jury this morning facing 11 felony counts.

Smith is accused of driving the wrong way on I-5, from southern Oregon down to northern California.

After driving through four sets of spike strips-- the chase ended near Castella, where Smith reportedly shot at police with an assault riffle.

If convicted of all charges, Smith faces 100 years to life in prison.

The man is currently being held in the Shasta County Jail on $5 million bail.
