A Medford man convicted of leading Oregon's largest mail theft ring has received a prison sentence.

30 year old Robert Lee Powelson will spend 13 years and five months behind bars.

Records indicate the man was the ringleader in a number of crime circles, including mail and identity theft, and bank fraud. Police say there are over 8-hundred local mail theft victims, and at least two thousand pieces of mail were stolen in a six month period last year.
