A Temecula, California man is safe tonight after spending two nights in the woods wearing shorts and sandals.
Thirty seven year old Jason Cooper apparently became disoriented Monday after a fender bender on highway 138 near Lemolo Lake junction.
The other driver in the two car crash said Cooper got out of his vehicle, acted strangely, and ran off into the woods wearing only a fleece coat, sandals and shorts.
State police began a search but had to call it off due to darkness.
Cooper was eventually found on Wednesday cold and hungry and is now being treated in a Roseburg hospital for hypothermia.
