More arrested in food stamp fraud, expected in court Friday

More arrests are made in 'Operation Gold Card,' a massive case of food stamp fraud in Klamath Falls. Klamath County's District Attorney says there are now 40 people in custody and 20 more suspects are wanted.

The suspects are all expected to appear in court on Friday.

According to the Klamath County Sheriff's Office the owners of "Carniceria Mi Pueblo" meat market paid 'Oregon Trail' card holders 50 cents on the dollar.

The profits funded operations at "Taqueria Mi Pueblo" on Oregon Avenue.
