Thousands Without Power Following Winter Storm

Close to four thousand people, most of who reside in Josephine County are still without power and it could be days before it comes back on.

Some Hugo residents are without water, heat and a way to cook food following a mass power outage. One man I spoke with slid his car into a ditch the night before. today he and his wife are trying to stay warm and recover their car. A lucky few are using gasoline generators to keep the lights on. Pacific power says, (at 6pm) some power will be restored by tomorrow night and the estimate more people will get power by Sunday night. They also say it's possible that stable winter conditions could make it difficult to fix or maybe worse.

Here's a link to the outage website. You can also find information about reporting an outage as well as local warming shelters.
