Southern Oregon Humane Society is celebrating 85 years saving lives here in the Rogue Valley.
And there is something new and very special at their facility now.
You asked for it and the animals are loving their new birthday present.
It's a new agility course for the dogs - big and small.
"People really wanted us to do it, they gave us the money to do it."
     Up, over, in, out.
"We're seeing a lot of personality in dogs we otherwise probably wouldn't have."
This new course is helping dogs overcome some of the barriers they have to adoption.
"When they are in a kennel environment, you aren't really seeing that animal for who they are."
Shy dogs are becoming outgoing and confident.
Hyper dogs are calm and obedient.
"The changes that we are seeing in dogs is spectacular."
All this, thanks to your donations and a dedicated staff at the Southern Oregon Humane Society.
