Curry county will not receive assistance from F.E.M.A. follow the mid-November storms.
The storms left more than 5 million dollars in damage.
F.E.M.A. officials say while the county far exceeds the amount of damage requirement by the agency, the state overall needs to have a threshold of between 8 and 9 million dollars.
County officials say insurance will pay for some of the damage.
Meanwhile officials will address how to finance the rest of the storm damage in a work session scheduled for January.
