Oregon State Police arrest Cave Junction murder suspect

Update (7/23 10:30 a.m.) Following a citizen's tip Wednesday morning, Oregon State Police (OSP) arrested 44 year old Daniel Joseph Martinson who was wanted on a felony warrant for Murder related to a November 2013 homicide in Cave Junction.

Police occurred as he was walking from a local food bank carrying a box of food along S. Junction Avenue next to Jubilee Park in Cave Junction. The photos were taken shortly after his arrest at the scene. OSP detectives and troopers were involved in the response and arrest. 


Cave Junction, Ore. -- A Josephine County man is wanted by police for a Cave Junction homicide.

Oregon State Police are looking for 44 year old Daniel Joseph Martinson. He's accused of murdering 39 year old Aaron Lee Clouser in November of last year.

Clouser was found dead, laying in the middle of West Millie Street in Cave Junction. Police have not said how he was killed.   

Martinson is  5'6",  155 pounds, is missing a front tooth, and has a tattoo of a pit bull on his back that also says "outlaw" underneath.

He hangs out in Cave Junction, Selma and Kerby. Police say he may have shaved his head and beard.

If you see him call 911. He's considered dangerous.
