More than 700 firefighters from Washington and Oregon have been outsourced to manage crews, aircraft and equipment in several different states.  The Colorado fire has brought a large majority of U.S. Forest Service fire crews from the Northwest to the Rockies.

In Southern Oregon, while resources are being deployed to these massive fires, officials say it's normal for this time of year.
While crews battle the Rocky Mountain fires, closer to home, a slow start to our fire season has given firefighters more time to prepare.
