Over $8 Million Awarded For Oregon Emergency Management

Over $8 million has been awarded and distributed throughout Oregon, for emergency management.

$3.5 million has been given from the Federal Homeland Security Grant program, to be used for the response and prevention of terrorism.

Another $5 million was awarded as an Annual Emergency Management Performance grant.

80% of that will go to local government agencies, and the rest to state agencies programs.
