Two people are behind bars Tuesday morning after a high speed pursuit, stretching from North Medford to Ashland.
Around midnight, police say they attempted a traffic stop on a BMW, where reports indicate a chase began, starting at the North Medford Walmart, down Highway 62 and onto I-5 heading south.
Police say the car turned around at exit 14 in Ashland and headed northbound. It eventually hit spike strips around milepost 17 took exit 19, onto Highway 99, where it stopped near Arnos road in Talent, where three arrests were made.
Police say the driver had a suspended license, and the passenger is facing drug charges. Another passenger in the car was released.
More information is expected to be released later Tuesday.
