Plane Crashes At Medford Airport

Update (10:45pm): All runways have been reopened at the Medford Airport. Several flights were diverted, cancelled or delayed during the closure.

Update (8:53pm): Officials report that there were no injuries in the crash. They also tell NBC 5 that there may have been an issue with their landing gear. Currently all runways are still closed and flights are being delayed, canceled or diverted.

Emergency crews responded to the Medford Airport shortly after 7pm Sunday evening for a small plane that had crashed during landing.

This crash coming just after a small plane made an emergency landing shortly before 6pm in a field in White City Saturday. The pilot landed safely with minor damage to the plane and a fence.

It is currently unknown the cause of the crash or if any injuries were sustained during the crash.
