Police arrest a Medford man on drug charges, after finding a connection with the largest steroid bust in Medford history.

54 year old Jeffrey Rupert is behind bars in the Jackson County Jail.

Investigators with M.A.D.G.E. discovered drugs and packaging supplies in his East 12th street home on Wednesday.

Officials seized 4 grams of heroin, 3.5 grams of meth, and 2 bottles containing steroids.

Police believe Rupert was distributing both meth and heroin.

He faces multiple drug-related charges.

Rupert was also wanted on a Medford Municipal warrant for contempt-- theft 3.

Rupert's bail is set at 112-thousand dollars.

During their search on Wednesday, investigators also found bottles labeled "Superior Labs."

Officials say that same label was found on bottles in the biggest steroid bust in Medford history.

On February 6th of this year, police arrested Rafael Rene Fernandez, after finding more than 18-thousand doses of steroids, as well as erectile dysfunction drugs.

Fernandez has since posted bail.

Officials say they believe there could be a connection.

The investigation into both of these cases continues.
