Ashland Police are investigating a an attempted burglary. They're looking into whether it may be related to a series of smash and grabs around town.
Around 3:30 Saturday morning police said an attempted burglary occurred at a liquor store on Lithia Way in Ashland.
"Since about August of last year, we've had a series of these window smash burglaries. They'll go inside and they'll take stuff," said Sgt. Bob Smith with the Ashland Police.
Underage teens were pegged for some of the other recent burglaries. Police said they have security footage from the liquor store they will be reviewing. If you have any information, call the Ashland Police Tipline 541-552-2333.
