Police investigating another Subway robbery

Medford, Ore. -- Medford Police are investigating another robbery at the Subway Restaurant on Crater Lake Avenue. It's the second time the restaurant has been hit this week.

Police said it happened a little before 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning. A white male dressed in all black went into the store armed with an edged weapon and demanded money.

The thief left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police did a K9 search, which was unsuccessful.

"There were witnesses last night in the store. They were interviewed and that part of the investigation is ongoing," Sargeant Derek Parks said.

This is the second robbery at the Subway in four days. Police can't confirm if there is a connection between the two but said there are some strange similarities. Last week's robbery also happened around 2:00 a.m. but there were two thieves.

Police are asking anyone with information to call.
