Shortly after 3:30pm this afternoon Phoenix Police responded to a silent alarm at the Umpqua Bank at 4000 S. Pacific Highway.

Police tell us that the suspect was described as a male, 5 foot 10 inches to 6 foot tall, slender build and a light complexion. They say the suspect was wearing black clothes, a black ski type mask and a hood over his head which will make identifying the suspect difficult.

Police say the suspect threatened that he had a weapon, but the tellers, nor witnesses inside the bank, saw any weapons.

Police ask that if you have any information relating to the robbery to call (541) 776-7206.
