Spirits were high as the lifts opened on Mount Ashland with several feet of fresh snow.
After two days off and a giant winter storm, skiers and snowboarders flocked to Mount Ashland to catch some fresh powder. Twenty new inches of snow gave beginners a soft crash landing and experts a chance to show off. As the parking lot filled up it was easy to tell people were out to have a good time. Twilight skiing is from 3-9pm every Thursday and Friday and costs between $18-24.
