Some say they want the president to bring hope back to the american people. Others are more
interested in the general elections that are ahead, regardless of what the president says tonight.

We asked, what will the president consider his top priority for the next nine months at his state of the union address tonight?
"i think his points will be on fairness, getting the economy moving and jobs"
"trying to get people to cooperate in congress to move things forward."
What issues do voters find most important?
"I think getting people back in school, which is what a lot are doing now."
    "That's a tough question.Wall Street."
   "The economy."
Some think the president will spend more time campaigning than on domestic issues. Others just say their tired of all the politics.
     "I'm tired of the politics"
The State of the Union address will air right here on NBC5 News at 6 p.m. rather than our local news
