Fire crews worked all weekend long in Grants Pass to help strengthen firelines and mop up hot spots.

The Beacon Hill fire broke out Friday afternoon and consumed about 115 acres.

One home was slightly damaged in the fire and a nearby outbuilding was entirely destroyed.

Fortunately no one was injured.

Investigators believe a vehicle driving on I-5 may have caused the fire to start.

Anyone who may have seen a vehicle with sparks behind it, is asked to call the Oregon Department of Forestry at (541) 471-3883.
