Remembering Alysa Bobbit

Saturday night family members spoke out, remembering the life of 5 year old Alysa Bobbit.

Police say Bobbit was killed Thursday night when Jon Andrew Meyer Junior fired a gun through the ceiling of a Grants Pass apartment complex.

The bullets also injured 44 year old Karen Hancock.

Saturday we spoke with Bobbit's paternal Grandmother in Texas who said she hadn't seen her in 2 years, but that she talked with her on a regular basis.

"Coming over here she liked to play with Grandpa Travis, he always made her laugh. They'd chase each other around and she liked playing with my other two kids, Cory and Heather." said Bobbit's Grandmother

A memorial service for Bobbit is currently being planned.Meanwhile, Meyer remains behind bars at the Josephine County Jail on $250,000 bail.
