Roller Odyssey to close after 37 years

Medford, Ore. -- A long-time Southern Oregon business is closing it's doors.

Skaters at Roller Odyssey in Medford will take their last laps in the coming weeks.

Owner Cheryl Masterson said the economy, and her husband's death four years ago, have taken tolls on the family business "I've just been trying to keep it going. Mostly for the kids because my kids grew up roller skating and in the roller skating industry we have a saying that the families that skate together stay together and that has definitely proved the fact with my family and my manager's family and all of my kids."

Roller odyssey has been open for 37 years.

The owner wants to keep doors open through spring break.

Roller odyssey will close for good April 6th.

They will be open through Spring Break. Go here for the schedule:
