Ryleigh's Story: A Daughter's Fight For Life After Debilitating Asthma Attack

A debilitating asthma attack leaves a little five-year-old Medford girl fighting for her life and her family struggling to make ends meet.  NBC5's Laura Cavanaugh files this exclusive report.

UPDATE:

The family is in need of some basic medical equipment: a wheelchair ramp, an adaptive stroller and a lift so Ryleigh can go outside. They also need a swing, bean bags and a way to pay for all her medications.

They would even appreciate little things that they cannot afford like donated clothes for Ryleigh. She's a tall five year-old. She wears a size 6 clothing and a size 12-14 sock.

At the end of the month on a fixed income, the family can barely afford things like toilet paper and trash bags.

Again, the Paypal account can be referenced by Ryleigh's e-mail address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

And if you want to follow Ryleigh's journey, she has a Facebook Page at "Lil Miss Ryleigh" on Facebook.
