Search continues for missing White City man

White City, Ore. -- The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for their help in finding 26 year-old Christopher Jon Evans of White City. Today marks the one year anniversary when family and friends last saw him. Chris was reported missing to law enforcement on July 29, 2013. Today is also Chris’ 26th birthday. According to family members who saw Evans, he was in White City and Eagle Point before disappearing.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has continued to investigate this case. Detectives want to talk to ANYONE who remembers seeing or speaking to Chris around the time he disappeared. Chris has always been a very social person and there is reason to believe he had contact with numerous people around that time.

Evans is 6’ 3” tall and weighs 175 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Evans has multiple tattoos on his neck, back, and arms. He is also known to wear baggy clothes.

Anyone with information about Evans’ whereabouts is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line at (541) 774-8333. You can remain anonymous, however it is helpful if you leave a phone number where someone can reach you if there are further questions.
