Sheriff's Office Searching for Missing Skier

***UPDATE: Missing skier has been found safe***

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says they are searching for 52-year-old Carol Koon from Chiloquin who went missing from Mt. Ashland Sunday afternoon.

Her family said they last saw her between 2-2:30pm inside the ski lodge. She told her family she was going to ski the "bowl" and has not been seen since.

Officials say Carol was last seen wea

ring a black ski coat and pants, red ski boots, orange and yellow skis and carrying gray ski poles.

She has blondish-gray hair and was wearing sunglasses.

Anyone who may know Carol Koon's whereabouts or saw her past 2pm is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff's Office at 541-774-6800.
