Sheriff Seeks Federal Money For Jail

Josephine County Sheriff, Gil Gilbertson is trying to convince commissioners to relieve some $500,000 or more that could be available from the $4.7 million in federal dollars. With that money he want's to increase jail beds from 30 to 109, add court security from 1.5 to two deputies as well as adding two deputies to the jail floor for safety.
