Winter weather is hitting the Rogue valley!
Our cameras were in Ashland this morning-- about an inch of accumulation was on the ground by that time, with constant flurries.
Further north in Talent, light snow was falling from the sky and in the talent area too-- the roads were very slick. Temps were hovering right around the freezing mark.
In east medford, this video was recorded shortly before 5 on east Barnett road near the Rogue Valley Medical Center.
A nice blanket of snow fell over the Portland metropolitan area this past weekend.
A thick layer of freezing fog is expected to stick around this morning.
Further north, Portland folks can expect some nice sunshine this week -- but it won't last long -- as more cold weather and snow will roll in as march begins.

there were one hundred and twenty five collisions in Spokane county Saturday.
