A bill preventing employers from asking for your social media passwords appears to have unanimous support.
House bill 2654 was heard yesterday.
The bill prohibits educators and employers from making you hand over your passwords as a condition of enrollment or employment.
Also, the bill prevents people from requiring potential employees or students to add them as friends on social media sites.
A few amendments are being made before the committee votes.
If it passes, the bill would go before the senate for final approval.
