Dancers from the West coast, even from all over the world, will be taking Medford by storm this weekend.  They're in town for the 2nd Annual Southern Oregon Swing Dance Convention.  On Thursday night, NBC5 caught up with folks practicing their steps at the Evergreen Ballroom.

Starting Friday morning, dancers of all levels will be kicking up their heels at the Medford's Red Lion Hotel all weekend long.  There will be 20 professional dancers on hand to teach and perform.  And music lovers are invited to come down to watch, learn and even compete for prizes.  The Southern Oregon Swing Dance Convention was so successful last year that organizers had to bring it back for an encore.

There will be non-stop opportunities to spin, shimmy and shake from 10am until 6am Friday through Sunday at the Red Lion.  For more information, you can log on to soswing.org.
