State sues Oracle over failed 'Cover Oregon' website

Salem, Ore. -- On Friday a lawsuit was was filed by the state of Oregon against the technology company that was responsible for creating the troubled 'Cover Oregon' website.

The state is suing Oracle America for more than $200 million and claims that the company made false statements.

The website never officially launched. In February, Congressman Greg Walden and State Representative Dennis Richardson ordered a complete investigation into the failures of the website.

Earlier this month Oracle filed their own lawsuit against Oregon alleging a breach of contract.
