South Medford Students giving back.

A Bear Creek Greenway cleanup project 4 years in the making and these students are making major headway.

As part of their senior project, the students gather twice a week in the summer, and three Saturday's per month in the winter.

They clean up trash, remove blackberry bushes and build bio-swells that filter dirty water runoff from the city of Medford, before it hits Bear Creek.

And students are determined to finish the project despite being over hours.

All the students agreed that they just wanted to help better the planet and environment.
