Statewide,  activists from 'Oregon United for Marriage' hope that a measure passing same-sex marriage will be on the ballot in 2014.

This weekend the basic rights Oregon campaign worked on getting more signatures and donations.

"Marriage equality is important to a lot of different people not just gay people, the tide is turning and alot more people are supporting marriage equality," said organizer Bonnie Cameron.

So far the group has gathered over a 104,000 signatures, they need a total of a 116,000 to get the measure on the ballot.
